Top Ten Corrupt Politicians of 2009

I stumbled across this on the Judicial Watch Website and thought I'd share their list of 2009's most corrupt politicians with you. Listed in alphabetical order, they are:

  1. Senator Christopher Dodd (D-CT)
  2. Senator John Ensign (R-NV)
  3. Rep Barney Frank (D-MA)
  4. Secretary of Treasury Timothy Geithner
  5. Attorney General Eric Holder
  6. Rep Jesse Jackson, Jr. (D-IL)/ Senator Roland Burris (D-IL)
  7. President Barack Obama
  8. Rep Nancy Pelosi (D-CA)
  9. Rep John Murtha (D-PA and the rest of the PMA Seven
  10. Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY)

Judicial Watch goes in depth about the corrupt dealings of each of these "public servants" on their website. I suggest you hop over and take a look.

As they say on that Compose Tumbler® ad, "It's simply amazing".

Top 10 Things I Learned Listening To SOTU Last Night

I really, really wish I had written this first.

Top 10 Things I Learned Listening To SOTU Last Night

More Hot Air, Please

I work second shift, so was unable to watch The Great One's State of the Union Speech tonight. Oh, I did watch about 40 minutes of it when Fox News played the rerun at midnight.

The teleprompter was letting him down. His repressed frustration at us (from members of the Supreme Court on down to the floor sweeper at the mall) was showing.

The American People have not fallen into lock-step and followed him to Hell yet. The Great One just doesn't understand.

I'll read the speech over the weekend. I have too much to do in the morning. We in the South are preparing for another winter storm, brought to us by Al Gore and Global Warming.

Too bad Obama's hot air cooled off before it got here. Maybe we would have just been expecting rain.

And the Winner of the Obama Astroturf Award Is . . . Ellie Light

I can't even begin to top Michelle Malkin on the exploration of "Ellie Light". Apparently Miss Ellie has been writing pro-Obama letters to the editor and getting them published all over the nation.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer broke the story over the weekend and it has since gone viral. Everyone wants to know who Ellie Light is and why she embarked on this campaign on behalf of the Great One. (Maybe she was, like, paid to do it?)

Patterico reports that Ms. Light's letters have appeared in 42 publications in 18 states and D.C., and reported sightings are still coming in. I thought I was prolific! Ms. Light, you should win a prize. I'm not sure what it would be called, maybe the Obama Astroturf Award.

Michelle says it best:

The bogus letters are just the latest example of Obama theater — doctors in costumes, town hall stage props,
trumped-up Obamacare anecdotes, kiddie proxies, etc., etc., etc.

I think the Obama Theater should start giving out the Astroturf Award on a monthly basis. This month's award should go to Ellie Light, no doubt about it.

Not a Classy Blog

Jill Dorsen writes that she is sorry she voted for Barack Obama, not for what her vote helped do to us, but for herself.

I am a registered Independent. I voted for Barack Obama. And for that, I am sorry.

I'm not sorry for you. I'm sorry for me. Because I voted for Obama for me, not for you. I voted for hope and change and all the intangibles that Obama was peddling in the wake of the financial crisis, Sarah Palin, Sept. 11 and all the other ills that shook our country in the last decade. I wanted something new. Something different. What I got was, I suppose, exactly what I voted for - a spin doctor. And not a very good one at that.

Before John McCain unwittingly picked a tabloid-magazine cover girl for his running mate, I was leaning toward going Republican this time around. I did the second time Bush was on the ballot and I very nearly did the first time, too. But as soon as Palin climbed out of her igloo and onto the national scene, well, there was no turning back for me.

She continues:

But McCain made it easy. He's a smart man, I don't doubt that. But between picking Palin, suggesting that the first debates be delayed and, well, picking Palin, he made it easy for Obama to win. As Election Day drew near, all Obama had to do was keep his mouth shut to win.

I learned about this piece of garbage from my favorite blog, Legal Insurrection. William Jacobson noted that his was a classy blog and thus he wouldn't say what he was thinking.

Well, this is not a classy blog. It's a blog by a down and dirty Southern Gal who identifies with Sarah Palin.

I think this "apology" is no such thing. It is but one more instance of Palin-bashing, an example of Palin Derangement Syndrome.

Ms. Dorsen, I'm happy for you that you are sorry for yourself. I'm sorry that the Great One has not lived up to your expectations. Hello! Maybe you should have done your research on your candidate before you voted for him. Maybe you should have listened to those among us who were warning of the runaway train of big government this man proposed?

Apology not accepted!

Delta Smelt Update

Last year I wrote some articles on another blog about the man-made drought the farmers in the San Joaquin Valley were enduring due to EPA regulations intended to save the Delta Smelt. You can read these articles here and here and here.

At long last something is going to be done, well, maybe. At least the poor farmers have gotten congressional attention. On Monday there is to be a Congressional Field Hearing on the issue. That's right, some congressional leaders are going to go look at the situation first hand.

Big Government.com reports:

At issue is what residents are calling a government-made drought in the Central and San Joaquin Valleys of California.   Legal and environmental regulations in the Endangered Species Act has resulted in the diversion of 200 billion gallons of water from the agricultural heartland of California into the Ocean.  According to California farmer Rose Corona,

"Potentially over $20 billion of California's $43 billion of agricultural revenue could be decimated in America's greatest breadbasket as farmers lose their farms and residents are forced to import food from China. While the solutions are not simple, local government officials are not even able to attempt them."

Two thirds of California's water is in Northern California, but two thirds of the people live in Southern California.  Over the last generation, a series of aqueducts and canals was built to divert some of the plentiful water in the North so that instead of raising the sea level (as Al Gore warns us is imminent) the fresh water will irrigate incredibly productive land.  The five counties effected provide tens of thousands of jobs and a stunning $20 billion of food output.

It has always been my opinion that the fish are less important that humans. Our food supply should not be put in jeopardy for a fish that has no economic value and is actually in more danger from imported species of fish that use them for food.

It is also my opinion and the facts are glaringly clear, that this EPA move on the farmers of California is but a power grab to control the water supply.

Once the government can assume complete control of our water, whether for farming or drinking, they have complete control over us. Something to think about, isn't it?

Pelosi and Reid: They’ll Never Give Up

With the victory of Scott Brown in Massachusetts killing the 60 vote majority in the Senate and the backlash of fear generated in democrats up for election in 2010 it was easy to think that the healthcare bill would be declared D.O.A.

Don't celebrate its demise yet.

Politico reports that Prince Harry and Duchess Pelosi have more tricks up their respective sleeves.

Earlier this week, Pelosi said she did not have the votes to pass the Senate bill unchanged through the House. And Reid, who lost his 60-vote majority Tuesday, does not have the votes to make wholesale changes to legislation his chamber passed last month.

So, leaders are considering making limited changes that can be passed using a budget process called reconciliation, which only requires 51 votes in the Senate.

Beware, for while we are smiling to ourselves thinking the election of Scott Brown has given us the 41st vote to stop the healthcare fiasco, Prince Harry and Nancy Pelosi may be planning to make some changes to the bill and then slip it through the Senate with 51 votes.

Keep your eye on them, folks, watch the other hand.

Saturday Open Thread

I'm a working person. I have to work today.

As one of the few who escaped the rounds of lay-offs where I work I feel blessed. As a citizen of this great land, who as such has the right to sit here and put my comments "out there" to each of you, I feel blessed.

If you landed here today, feel free to comment about anything you like. I'll check in tonight to see what you had to say.

The Revolution Has Begun

Last night, in a factory in North Carolina, tension was high. I had the only Internet capable phone and was constantly asked, "What's happening in Massachusetts?"

One co-worker had told his sister-in-law to watch the election results and make an 'emergency' call to him to let him know who won. We were all pulling for Scott Brown.

Thanks to Twitter and a text from my husband, who was following the results for me on FNC, we knew Coakley had conceded moments after it happened. We passed the word...

A cheer went up from the factory floor of that North Carolina plant. Employee's held hands and did "happy-dances" in the isles between machines.

Congratulations Scott.

Your victory signaled to us that there is hope that we can turn our government around before its too late. We can run a revolution at the ballot box instead of in the streets (a fear many of us have held for awhile now).

Today, finally, we do have hope that there will be change. . . the change we want. A return to the conservative values that made our country great. A return to a nation that rewards hard work and productivity instead of promoting government handouts, a nation that is second to none in our military, a nation that can and will stand alone in the world as a beacon of hope to all peoples.

We on the factory floors now know that our grassroots efforts can and will succeed to rid our great land of the blight and corruption that has entwined itself in Washington for far too long.

God Bless the Revolution. God Bless the United States of America!

Hope and Change in Massachusetts

I've been up since early morning watching the news, Legal Insurrection's live feed, Twitter feeds, and ever other source of information I can find on events in Massachusetts.

I'm praying enough Brown supporters get out and vote to make it a victory, no, a landslide victory for Scott Brown.

A landslide victory will send a clear message to our run-away government that We-the-People are fed up and aren't going to take it anymore.

Any victory will be wonderful, even a tight race with a loss will send a message; but to get through to the thick-headed, we will do it our way liberals; we need a landslide.

As someone commented on one of the sites I visited this morning (Twitter or Legal Insurrection's live feed, sorry I forgot which one it was): 'A landslide today will give them warning of the tsunami in November.'

Lets Roll, Massachusetts! Get out there and elect Scott Brown!

MSNBC's Olbermann: You Lie!

This piece raises my ire. It makes me mad.

Olbermann, you are a self made SOB!

OK, people from Massachusetts:
Get out there and VOTE FOR SCOTT BROWN!

Massachusetts Race Neck and Neck

The latest poll results for the Senate race in Massachusetts shows Brown with a slight lead over Coakley. Both sides are working hard to get out the vote.

If you are a Massachusetts voter, I implore you to brave the weather and get out there and vote for Scott Brown tomorrow. He may be our last chance to turn the tide of socialism that threatens to roll over us all.

I started this blog as a way to add my voice to the others who where protesting the socialist take-over of our great country. After Harry Reid's vote buying and influence peddling managed to get the health care bill passed on Christmas Eve, I began to lose hope. It started to feel like the battle was lost.

Then, from out of the blue, Scott Brown rode in in his pickup truck and gave me hope. In my mind I wondered that if that old pickup truck, the one Obama dissed yesterday, was the modern day version of a white horse.

As I watched Scott's campaign, my hope began to flutter to life again. Maybe, just maybe we do have a few good men left who won't bow to the King and sell the entire country down the river. Just maybe.

From Massachusetts all the way down to North Carolina, the hope for real change has spread from Scott Brown's campaign. God bless him.

So, please, if you are a Massachusetts voter and believe as the rest of us that this madness in Washington has got to stop, brave the snow and cold and vote for Scott Brown.

The rest of the us will be with you in our hearts and spirits. Help us!

Obama Heckled in Mass

Like everyone else, I have watched Obama on television at least once a day since he took office. I was watching his campaign appearance for Martha Coakley to see what he would say and was amazed.

To my knowledge, for the first time out of all his multitudes of speeches, the Great-One was heckled.

It was one of those moments you don't forget. Finally, security at a rally had failed and a real person got into the event! And they didn't like Obama and his message! Oh joy!

As a result of the heckling, the teleprompter got ahead of the President (someone will lose their job for that, I'm sure) and he was reduced to sputtering and stammering. The teleprompter was quickly backed up and the speech got back underway.

Barry's usual arrogant composure had been ruffled, however, and he didn't recover right away.

I don't really think the appearance did much for Coakley. I know it did a lot for the rest of us. We finally got to see Obama heckled. At least where he could hear it; we've been heckling him via our television screens for months now.

Be Ashamed, Mr. Robinson

And the Lord's Representative on Earth Said

Pat Robinson said, "True Story". He went on to tell of the times when Haiti was a French Colony, and the rebels "swore a pact to the devil". "We will serve you if you will get us free from the French."

"And the devil said, OK, it's a deal."

Robinson continued, "ever since they (Haitians) have been cursed by one thing after the other."

I have wanted to approach this subject ever since I saw the video clip of this exchange.

Apparently Robinson was referring to a Voodoo ritual held in 1791 that may have been the beginning of the revolution that achieved independence from France. I suppose if the ceremony had been a protestant tent meeting Robertson would have found another way to make it The Wrath of God.

Mr. Robinson, in case you didn't know: earthquakes are a force of nature. They occur as a part of the natural action of plate tectonics.

Earthquakes can happen anywhere that the earth's tectonic plates come into contact with each other. Plate tectonics is the moving force along fault lines in California and Alaska, as evidenced by earthquakes there. Smaller, less active plates on the east coast of this country are capable of producing the same devastation that occurred on Haiti. In fact, the close proximity of Haiti makes me a bit nervous, since I am located on the east coast.

Anyone who blames God (any god) for the destruction on Haiti is an idiot. You are an idiot, Mr. Robinson.

You make good, honest, Christians hang their heads in shame. You make all Americans ashamed. You need to think carefully before you make such statements (which you do at each and every natural or man-made disaster). You are no prophet, and I wonder if you are really a man of God.

Brown has Scared the Bejebers Out of the Dem’s in Mass.

I'm not a resident of Massachusetts, but am watching the Senate race there with interest.

I'm absolutely gleeful that Scott Brown is leading in the polls. My husband and I both shout "Go, Scott, Go!" at the television every time we hear more encouraging news.

I get much of my information on the Brown vs. Coakley race from William A. Jacobson's blog, Legal Insurrection. He's honest and I trust what he says. Reading his blog this morning (well afternoon) I see that the liberal bloggers are approaching severe panic mode due to polls that show Brown with a narrow lead. They are sinking to new lows in an attempt to smear Brown's reputation and credibility at the last minute.

Figures.

If you can't win on merit, win by telling lies on your opponent.

Now, the Liar-in-Chief is in route to "help" pull Coakley out of the fire. I hope it is the kiss of death for her campaign.

Scott Brown is our last hope to head off the run-away Senate. No matter where you are in this great nation, do what you can to support him.

Go, Scott, Go!

ACORN In North Carolina

It is easy to think that the community organizing group ACORN is a only product of big cities. When watching televised reports about ACORN these are the area's most likely mentioned.

Here in Western North Carolina it is so easy to fool yourself into believing that ACORN and the corruption surrounding it is far away, somewhere else.

Not so.

ACORN is alive and well in North Carolina.

We North Carolinian's who are concerned about corruption in local, state, and federal government would do well to look over this chart that shows ACORN's tentacles spreading throughout our great state.

Bye-bye Free Speech

Here's a nice tidbit for you guys. Prison Planet is reporting that Obama's Information Czar, Cass Sunstein, wants to tax or make illegal political opinions of which the government disapproves.

Now wait one minute!

I suggest you hop over there and read their article, and think long and hard about just what this regime is up to. If we don't act and act now, Obama and crew are going to take away all our rights. What a sorry state of affairs it will be then. I don't want to imagine.

Coakley’s Poll Numbers Falling Like A Rock

You may not live in Massachusetts, but even if you don't you should be watching the Senate race there. The special election for the late Ted Kennedy's coveted Senate seat is turning into quite a race.

Democratic hopeful, Martha Coakley is falling behind in the polls to Republican Scott Brown. The Washington Examiner reports:

Here in Massachusetts, as well as in Washington, a growing sense of gloom is setting in among Democrats about the fortunes of Democratic Senate candidate Martha Coakley. "I have heard that in the last two days the bottom has fallen out of her poll numbers," says one well-connected Democratic strategist. In her own polling, Coakley is said to be around five points behind Republican Scott Brown. "If she's not six or eight ahead going into the election, all the intensity is on the other side in terms of turnout," the Democrat says. "So right now, she is destined to lose."

Scott Brown could be the knight-in-shining-armor to save all of us from the Government's healthcare debacle. If you haven't started paying attention to this race, start. If you haven't done anything to help Brown win; do it now. Whether it's a donation, or helping get out the vote, DO SOMETHING. Let's let the political machine know that we are watching all the elections and that we intend for the best, most honest person to win.

Sarah Palin Joins Fox News

Twitter was abuzz last night as it was announced that Sarah Palin will be working for Fox News. Some like the idea some don't. I, for one, like it.

This job will give her a platform to gain more exposure to the public and show the world that she is an intelligent, educated woman. Being from Alaska does not mean a person has a backwoods education and poorly functioning brain cells. I know that flies in the face of liberal thought processes, but they need to "get over it".

Mrs. Palin is a fresh, honest conservative voice in the wilderness of liberalism that has engulfed our nation. I believe she will be an asset to Fox News.

Congratulations on the new gig, Sarah. Go get 'em!

Party Hardy at Copenhagen

At least that's what it sounds like our HUGE contingent of senators and their cohorts did. CBS reports:

CBS) Few would argue with the U.S. having a presence at the Copenhagen Climate Summit. But wait until you hear what we found about how many in Congress got all-expense paid trips to Denmark on your dime.

CBS investigative correspondent Sharyl Attkisson reports that cameras spotted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi at the summit. She called the shots on who got to go. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, and embattled Chairman of the Tax Committee Charles Rangel were also there.

They were joined by 17 colleagues: Democrats: Waxman, Miller, Markey, Gordon, Levin, Blumenauer, DeGette, Inslee, Ryan, Butterfield, Cleaver, Giffords, and Republicans: Barton, Upton, Moore Capito, Sullivan, Blackburn and Sensenbrenner.

That's not the half of it. But finding out more was a bit like trying to get the keys to Ft. Knox. Many referred us to Speaker Pelosi who wouldn't agree to an interview. Her office said it "will comply with disclosure requirements" but wouldn't give us cost estimates or even tell us where they all stayed.

Senator Inhofe (R-OK) is one of the few who provided us any detail. He attended the summit on his own for just a few hours, to give an "opposing view."

"They're going because it's the biggest party of the year," Sen. Inhofe said. "The worst thing that happened there is they ran out of caviar."

Our investigation found that the congressional delegation was so large, it needed three military jets: two 737's and a Gulfstream Five -- up to 64 passengers -- traveling in luxurious comfort.

Add senators and staff, most of whom flew commercial, and we counted at least 101 Congress-related attendees. All for a summit that failed to deliver a global climate deal.

As a perk, some took spouses, since they could snag an open seat on a military jet or share a room at no extra cost to taxpayers. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ) was there with her husband. Rep. Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) was also there with her husband. Rep. Ed Markey (D-MA) took his wife, as did Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner (R-WI). Congressman Barton -- a climate change skeptic -- even brought along his daughter.

Until required filings are made in the coming weeks, we can only figure bits and pieces of the cost to you.

 Three military jets at $9,900 per hour - $168,000 just in flight time.

 Dozens flew commercial at up to $2,000 each.

 321 hotel nights booked - the bulk at Copenhagen's five-star Marriott.

 Meals add tens of thousands more.

Steve Ellis of Taxpayers for Common Sense, wasn't against a U.S. presence. But he said, "Every penny counts. Congress should be shaking the couch cushions looking for change, rather than spending cash for everybody to go to Copenhagen."

Nobody we asked would defend the super-sized Congressional presence on camera. One Democrat said it showed the world the U.S. is serious about climate change.

And all those attendees who went to the summit rather than hooking up by teleconference? They produced enough climate-stunting carbon dioxide to fill 10,000 Olympic swimming pools.

Which means even if Congress didn't get a global agreement - they left an indelible footprint all the same.

I'm still pondering on this. All these VIP's, along with the President . . . looks like an excuse to party at our expense to me. But then, that's not unusual, is it?

Congressional Reform Act of 2010

I didn't write this. I've learned there are copies flowing freely on the net and thought I'd add it here for my readers. You may have already seen it. If not, have a read. I like it!

My thanks to whoever did write it.

Congressional Reform Act of 2010

1. Term Limits: One Term Maximum.

One Six-year Senate term and One Four Year House term.
Congress should concentrate on acting for the good of the country, not upon getting re-elected. Worthwhile bills not acted upon during a current session will be carried forth and voted on by elected successors.

Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term, then go home and back to work.

2. No Tenure / No Pension.

A congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office.

Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term, then go home and back to work.

3. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security

All money in the Congressional retirement fund moves to the Social Security System immediately. Congress participates with the American people and can purchase their own retirement plan just as all Americans..

Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term, then go home and back to work.

4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise.

Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term, then go home and back to work.

5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.

Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term, then go home and back to work.

6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.

Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term, then go home and back to work.

7. All contracts with past and present congressmen are void with the effective date of this reform act.

The American people did not make any contracts with congressmen; congressmen made all contracts with and for themselves.

Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term, then go home and back to work.

Calling Al Gore. . .

I hate to bore you guys with this, but has anyone heard from Al Gore during the recent abnormally cold weather. Cold weather which, by the way, seems to be happening on a (gasp) global scale?

Hey, Al, did you know that:

This report has an interesting tidbit.

Freeze warnings covered nearly all of Florida with temperatures expected to drop into the 20s overnight. Freezing iguanas were seen falling out of trees in Florida; experts say the cold-blooded reptiles become immobilized when the temperature falls into the 40s and they lose their grip on the tree. (Emphasis mine.)

In the UK, The Sun reports:

Commuters on the roads and rails were suffering travel chaos today as the country woke to more than a foot of snow — during the iciest winter for A CENTURY.

Here are a couple more links, just in case Al wants to read further:

New, Colder Weekend Freeze Looms for the Gulf Coast

Coming Major European Storm, Italy Targeted

And just for fun:

The "frozen Gore" ice sculpture is back in Alaska.

That's it folks, I have to go gather some firewood.

Lies, Lies, and More Lies

What happened to the promise of televising the Health Care Negotiations on C-SPAN? Obama repeatedly said he would, and you can check these videos to count 8 instances of him doing so.

Even CBS News has taken notice of the issue.

During the campaign, though, candidate Obama regularly promised something different - to broadcast all such negotiations on C-SPAN, putting the entire process of pounding out health care reform out in the open. (That promise applied to the now-completed processing of forging House and Senate bills, too.)

Back when Republicans controlled Congress and George W. Bush was in the White House, it was Democrats who angrily complained about secret backroom deals.

Now the roles are reversed.
The mainstream media needs to play catch-up with the American people. We have known for sometime now that the President is a bald-faced liar. We know he, Pelosi, and Reid and the rest of the corruptocrats are going to pass whatever bills they want, when they want, and We the People can be damned.

Universal Voter Registration

Ahhhh, now I see.

I, like many of you had been wondering what the democrats were thinking by passing legislation that would surely get them voted out of office this fall.

Silly me, they have a plan.

It's called Universal Voter Registration. According to an article by John Fund:

Call to all Patriots;  it's time to start writing your Senators and Congresspersons to voice opposition against a Universal Voter registration.  This legislation would involve the Federal government taking over from the state, the criteria used to register voters.  Every individual from every list the state possesses would automatically be placed on the voter rolls.  Now you may not think this problematic, yet the potential corruption in legislation like this could be MASSIVE.  If you thought Acorn was bad, just wait as those unconcerned, apathetic voters who have never voted suddenly through ghost votes find a voice.  Ghost votes that they never knew they cast, that were easily manipulated by corrupt forces in either party.  Currently less than 40% of eligible voters vote in major elections, which leaves a potential for 60% voter fraud.   Should this happen, wave our Republic .. good-bye.

The corruption potential wrapped in this package is enormous! James Simpson writes in the American Thinker:

The problems with universal voter registration are numerous and obvious. Many states' lists include vast numbers of illegals, including some states which allow illegals to obtain drivers licenses; because many homeowners have more than one home, there will be duplicates; because so many people are on so many separate federal and state government agency lists, there will be duplicates; and because so many lists exist with little or no cross-checking capability, all of these duplicates are likely to go uncorrected. Add to this the fact that Dems hope to extend voting rights to felons, and the whole thing begins to look like a nationwide Democrat voter registration drive facilitated by taxpayers.

Guess we can add this to our list when we write and call the low life's Congressmen and Senators that rule our districts represent us.

Hey, Al Gore, Explain this

I'd love to have a one-on-one with Al Gore and the Global Warming idiots right now. We are freezing our behinds off (in the South) and the cold weather reaches around the globe. Check these out:

U.S. Faces Record Cold Weather…

Beijing suffering coldest weather in decades. . .

World suffers from Arctic weather. . .

Peru's mountain people fight for survival in cold weather. . .

Iowa's temperatures 30° Below Normal. . .

There are more reports like these. Of course, the climate change nut cases will say (if I were a betting woman I'd place one here) that this is a prelude to the warming we are sure to undergo soon.

Yeah, right!

Prayers Are Answered For Rush

God does listen to conservative prayers, unlike what some liberals might want us to believe.

After extensive tests that found nothing wrong with his heart, Rush Limbaugh was released from The Queens Medical Center in Honolulu on Friday.

Rush will reportedly take a few more days off and return to his radio show sometime next week.

And to the liberals who on Twitter, in blogs and other media wished the worst for Rush...well, may your wishes turn around and bite you in the tail.
